My car was towed from 2670 Amy Ln in the Raleigh neighborhood. My friend was borrowing the car while I was out of town and couldn't get it to start one day, so it was there for a few days. We were attempting to have it towed through our roadside assistance, but before that took place, it was towed by these jackasses. My brother called the apartment complex (Jennifer Meadows), and they told him to call Superior Towing. (Although I'm the registered owner, my brother is the primary driver.) So he called Superior Towing and spoke with a woman and she told him the daily storage fees, so he replied with "So basically we're getting raped until we can get in town to pick up the car?"
So I'm planning a trip down to Memphis with my brother to retrieve the car from the lot, and I make a call to these guys on Friday, July 19, 2013, inquiring as to when I may pick up my car on Saturday, July 20. A husky country man was on the phone this time, and he replied with "We open Saturdays from 9 in the mornin' to 11 in the afternoon." And I had to pause in a moment of confusion. I said, "11 in the morning, or do you mean 11 at night?" He said "11 in the afternoon... Oh wait 11's before noon, that's right"
So my brother and I arrive the next day around 10:45 am. A skinny white male with a ghetto accent is working the counter and I tell him I'm here to pick up my car. He says "What kind of car is it?" I replied "Silver Infiniti G35." He said "Oh... Is you the one that called wantin' to *** my sister in the ***? Didn't you say somethin about gettin *** in the *** by my sister? Huh?" I said, "No, I think my brother talked to her", and my brother told them he never said anything of that nature. The cashier walks out of the office and in the waiting area and proceeds to get up in my brothers face and points to the door and says, "You tryin' to start ***? You better watch it when I see you out there" he goes back in the office to come to the window to collect my cash, meanwhile the big guy in the back that didn't know that 11 o'clock in the morning existed, is rambling off about how he wants to beat my ***. He's repeatedly saying "I'll beat the *** outta his ***" and "I'll beat the *** out of him" several times. I told the cashier that I needed to get the car towed through my insurance company, and he told me that he'd have the car pulled out to the street. So I pay and we go outside to wait, and what do you know, they're towing on a hook and chain!! I've NEVER seen any towing company use anything other than a flatbed to tow my car, and yes they scratched the front end up pretty good! They pulled it into the lot of a vacant building across the street. I call Geico roadside assistance for towing, and they tell me that they're sending out National Autow. While waiting the fat guy across the street at Superior is watching our every move, and when our tow truck arrives (a flatbed, of course), he comes across the street and starts telling our towing guy that we told his sister... Well, you get the point now. But he's rambling off on how bad he wants to beat my ***. It is not his place to come anywhere near me once my car left his lot. I oughtta be the one on him for them tearing up my bumper and harrassing my brother and I. This is officially the most unprofessional business I've ever encountered in my life!
